Brief Description: FSC is offering long-term Excellence Scholarships for PhD students from developing countries for a period of 37 months. Scholarships are offered to participate in the PhD Program “Global Food Security” at the University of Hohenheim.
The scholarships aim at increasing their previously gained scientific knowledge and skills relevant to food security-related issues. Finally, FSC aims at establishing an active, long-lasting collaboration with the supported researchers and their home institutions through an interactive alumni-network.

1. Entrance Requirement: In order to be admitted to a doctorate in one of the University of Hohenheim’s three faculties, the following degrees are required:
-a degree program with a standard period of study of at least four years at a university, college of education, or art college
-a postgraduate program at a university or college of education
